Justice identified the criminal responsible for running over and dragging a woman during a robbery in the Buenos Aires locality of Ramos Mejía. The suspect was captured by the cameras of the Operations and Monitoring Center of the Municipality of La Matanza and was identified as Gastón Rodríguez. The incident occurred at the intersection of Avenida de Mayo and Humboldt, where María Laura Mollard was hit while trying to prevent her car from being stolen.
According to journalistic sources, the 46-year-old woman parked her vehicle to pick up a friend's son at the Don Bosco school. Upon noticing that a thief had gotten into the car she left running, Mollard clung to the window in an attempt to prevent them from taking it. It was then that the criminal started the car and dragged her several meters down the street.
After the incident, the Justice ordered a search of Gastón Rodríguez's residence located on Pirovano Street in the Morón party. During the operation, items that would link the man to the robbery and the hit-and-run were seized. Additionally, a national and international arrest warrant was issued to locate the presumed responsible party.
